Amplitude is the distance a device's working surface travels during its motion. It is one of the clearest mechanical differences between many vibration and percussion tools.

Why amplitude matters

A longer stroke generally creates a more pronounced in-and-out motion. A shorter stroke can feel more like concentrated vibration when paired with high frequency.

Speed is not depth

A faster device is not automatically deeper, and a deeper stroke is not automatically more effective for every goal.

Compare complete specifications

Use amplitude together with frequency, motion type, weight, ergonomics and intended use.
